This book. Thiiiiiiiiiiis book had me in a chokehold, I was releasing a breath I didn’t know I was holding multiple times 😹 (cue romantasy writer pet peeve). As the second romantasy book from the Zander Wolfe pen name, this author has left me at a loss for words. The first book was fantastic, don’t get me wrong, but the author reallyyy shined in this one! You can really see their seasoned epic fantasy writing style come through. I was right there fighting alongside Ash, Cade, Hunter and Bella and felt their whirlwind of struggles and emotions.
